Job Summary
Dance Coach at the YMCA delivers high-energy, safe, and educational dance classes for children, teens, and adults; designs and choreographs lessons and recitals; supervises participants; builds relationships with participants and parents; promotes YMCA programs and campaigns; maintains attendance and equipment safety; completes required staff training and certifications; works evenings/weekends and supports a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age 15
- 12 months dance experience with teaching preferred
- CPR/AED & First Aid certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- New Leader Orientation
- Available to work evenings and weekends
