Job Summary
Head Dance Coach responsible for teaching competitive dance fundamentals, strategies, and sportsmanship; supervise student-athletes during practices, meets, travel, and related events; plan practices and routines; enforce eligibility and safety requirements per IHSA and district policies; chaperone events and maintain a positive team environment; report scores on IHSA School Center; complete paperwork and attend coach meetings; must complete first aid/CPR and district coaching certifications as required by IHSA; role available off-season; seasonal stipend with district benefits only for contracted employees; location Harold L. Richards High School, Illinois. Requires Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or ASEP.
Required Qualifications
- Previous high school dance coaching experience preferred
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or ASEP Required
