Job Summary
Damper Application & Development Engineer responsible for the application and development of commercial vehicle shock absorbers, reviewing customer technical specifications and drawings, introducing technology, developing applications and prototypes, managing engineering changes, providing technical support to other departments, and contributing to cost and production optimization. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in vehicle engineering or mechanical design, 3+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD/Creo, knowledge of quality systems, and English communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in vehicle engineering or mechanical design
- More than 3 years’ experience in commercial vehicle chassis components design and application development is preferred
- Familiar with commercial vehicle chassis suspension and steering system technologies
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Creo 9
- Familiar with IATF 16949:2016, ISO14001:2004, OHSAS18001:2007 or equivalent quality systems
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fluent English communication (reading/writing)
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
