Job Summary
Drive to sites for routine ticket requests and emergencies to locate underground utilities including electrical cables, gas lines, and communication lines using mapping tools and specialized equipment. Mark identified locations with paint and flags, then communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or authorities. Respond to after-hours emergency call-outs according to the established rotation schedule. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with potential weekend work and overtime availability. Weekly pay with automatic hourly increases after 60 and 180 days. Requires a valid driver's license, computer proficiency, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be able to use a computer
- Valid driver's license in applicable state of employment
- Must be able to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule
- Must reside in the Gwinnett County, GA Region
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
