Job Summary
Lead business development and project delivery for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex water resources practice by winning major pursuits, cultivating strategic client relationships, and overseeing complex engineering projects. Drive team growth through mentoring high-performing staff, fostering an inclusive environment, and collaborating with regional Water Business Line leadership on local initiatives. Serve as a technical seller combining expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling with strategic thinking to expand market presence. Requires a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer with 8+ years of experience, including 2+ years in leadership and 5+ in project management. Full-time hybrid role based in the Dallas office with comprehensive benefits, though sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field
- 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months of work

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- 5+ years of proven Project Management experience
- PMP Certification or comparable project management credentials
- Experience or interest in business operations and internal finance
- Advanced knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software and GIS platforms, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS Pro, and related engineering tools
- Strong team leader with excellent interpersonal skills who effectively works with and supports team members
- Collaborative; shares knowledge, experience, ideas, and expertise for the betterment of the wider group and self
- Is diligent and able to work consistently to deadlines under tight time frames
