Dallas: SPED Teacher Self Contained

Deliver differentiated academic instruction and manage a classroom environment that maximizes student potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Implement research-based strategies, design standards-based lesson plans, and provide whole group, small group, and one-to-one tutoring as needed. Monitor student behavior, maintain accurate documentation of grades and progress, and collaborate extensively with support teachers and aides to serve at-risk students. Create authentic assessments, participate in staff development, and uphold confidentiality of student information while complying with all district policies. Maintain on-site regular attendance and perform any other duties assigned by administration.
