Job Summary
Dallas-based classroom teacher responsible for delivering differentiated, standards-based instruction aligned to district policies; designs and submits engaging lesson plans, implements research-based instructional strategies, collaborates with ESL/SpEd/TAG/RTI teams to support at-risk or special-needs students, provides whole group/small group/one-to-one instruction and tutoring, manages behavior per Student Code of Conduct, maintains data-based documentation of student performance and progress, and communicates with parents and stakeholders; participates in staff development and extracurricular activities; ensures confidentiality and professional relationships with students, parents, and staff; creates authentic, standards-based assessments to demonstrate student mastery of academic content.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university
- Valid Texas teacher certification in respective content and grade level
- ESL Certification is required
- Must meet Highly Qualified status
