Job Summary
Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to identify opportunities and validate findings for complex business problems in digital manufacturing and AI. Collaborate with plant floor personnel to analyze manufacturing data, execute discrete flow simulation modeling, and develop data-driven solutions that improve productivity, asset utilization, and waste management. Deploy analytics models, dashboards, and reporting tools tailored to plant floor needs while conducting ROI and financial impact analyses for proposed operational changes. Manage multiple process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery through direct supervisory experience, performance appraisals, and team mentoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business-Related Field)
- 5+ years working in Consulting, Manufacturing, Manufacturing/Industrial/Equipment Engineering, Operations Technology, Manufacturing AI, Operational Digital Twins, Discrete Flow Simulation or related field, either in professional services or industry
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with direct exposure to plant floor operations and operations technology
- Demonstrated ability to use data & AI to solve manufacturing problems and improve operational outcomes
- Proficiency in AI tools i.e. Microsoft Data Foundry (or equivalent), ChatGPT, Claude, Co-Pilot, NVIDIA
- Experience in program or project management, with a track record of successfully running multiple improvement projects
- Solid understanding of the financial aspects of manufacturing, including cost analysis and ROI calculations
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for plant floor personnel and management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Secondary emphasis on Visio, Access, SQL, Python, and Tableau / Power BI
- Experience with data historians such as OSIsoft, an understanding of data tags and high value use-cases is a plus
- Professional Certification such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, TPM, Six Sigma/ Lean Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Professional, or similar strongly preferred
Desired Qualifications
