Job Summary
Develop and deliver differentiated academic instruction for fourth-grade students using research-based strategies and district curriculum. Design standards-based lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials while managing a classroom environment conducive to student growth. Provide whole group, small group, and one-on-one tutoring to support at-risk learners and special needs students. Monitor student behavior, maintain accurate documentation of grades and progress, and collaborate with support staff and faculty. Maintain professional relationships with parents and participate in staff development activities. Requires on-site regular attendance and adherence to all district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four year college or university
- Must meet Highly Qualified status
- Valid Texas teacher certification in respective content and grade level
- ESL Certification
