Dakota City Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical equipment, including boxes, disconnects, cabinets, and control systems. Clean components to ensure optimal performance and safety while completing all job-related paperwork accurately. Follow instructions via radio and work orders, maintaining work areas in a showcase-ready condition. Perform safety-related tasks and meet monthly safety training criteria. Advance through maintenance levels from Level 4 to Level 8 within one year. Complete at least one year of industrial electrical maintenance experience and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Work all shifts with designated days off.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the necessary communication skills/ ability to understand instructions received via radio
- the ability to read and comprehend written and verbal machine instructions
- to correctly complete all job related paperwork
- Must complete at least Level 4 maintenance training before working on the production floor
- Must complete monthly maintenance safety training
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, push, pull, reach, lift, and climb stairs and ladders
- Fixed shifts with designated days off
- Must have a minimum of 1 year industrial electrical maintenance work experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
