Job Summary
Oversee daily stocking, rotation, and replenishment activities within the Dairy Department, ensuring cases remain fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with product selection, resolving concerns promptly, and promoting sales through effective merchandising and promotional execution. Monitor inventory levels, communicate ordering needs, and maintain accurate pricing and signage while ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Provide direction and support to department associates, assist in training on operational standards, and promote teamwork and accountability. Maintain clean sales floor and backroom areas, remove damaged or expired merchandise, and reduce shrink through proper rotation and storage practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier loads with assistance when necessary
- Ability to work in refrigerated and cooler environments for extended periods
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, stocking equipment, and other department tools
Desired Qualifications
- Previous grocery, dairy, retail, or stocking experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
