Job Summary
Dairy Queen Team Member provides friendly, fast, and accurate service to guests while preparing food and treats to brand standards. This role supports daily restaurant operations by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and working as part of a team to ensure a positive guest experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests and taking orders, preparing items according to Dairy Queen standards, assembling and presenting orders quickly, maintaining cleanliness, following food safety guidelines, handling cash, restocking supplies, collaborating with team to meet service goals, and assisting with opening/closing duties. Requires 16+ years old, ability to stand for shifts, work in a 35°F cooler for up to 30 minutes, lift up to 50 lbs, tolerate cleaning products, and travel up to 10%. On-the-job training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years or older to apply
- Must be able to stand during the entire work shift
- Must be able to work in a cooler at 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products
- Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows
- Travel up to 10%
- Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience
- On-the-job training is provided for all new team members
