Dairy Manager/Head Clerk

Maintain full and organized dairy cases throughout the day, ensuring shelves are properly stocked, faced, and rotated using first-in, first-out principles. Receive, inspect, and verify accuracy of dairy deliveries while monitoring temperature logs and documenting any discrepancies. Ensure proper handling and storage of refrigerated products, maintaining department cleanliness and safety standards. Supervise, schedule, and assign duties to team members, interviewing and training staff to build a high-performing team. Assist customers with product inquiries and special orders while managing inventory, pricing, and shrink control to meet margin targets. Operate equipment safely including pallet jacks and dollies, and pull expired or non-compliant products per company procedures.
