Job Summary
Manage daily operations in the dairy and frozen food departments by ensuring consistent, compliant conditions that promote customer confidence and loyalty. Execute merchandising plans, maintain product levels, and train associates on freshness, rotation, inventory, and stocking while overseeing cooler and freezer conditioning. Establish goals for sales and profits, develop adequate schedules, and complete administrative tasks including scheduling, pricing changes, and order processing. Ensure targets are met for sales and shrink, maintain proper temperature logs, and enforce food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to operate pallet jack, baler, and trash compactor
- Proficient with computer applications used in effectively operating the department
- Possession of Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain same within 180 days of placement
- 0 -3 yrs minimum Supervisory Experience
- 250 lbs. Pulling Requirement
- 30 lbs. Lifting Requirement
