Job Summary
Stock shelves, dairy cases, and other areas in the Dairy/Deli and Grocery Departments. Fill customer orders by retrieving items from shelves, freezers, coolers, bins, tables, or containers. Ensure all items in the dairy box are in-code and within expiration dates while rotating stock to maintain freshness. Monitor pull dates on all Dairy/Deli and Grocery merchandise and complete daily price changes accurately before the store opens. Provide customer service that exceeds expectations by following established policies, maintaining a positive attitude, and adjusting to workplace changes.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- positive can-do attitude
- ability to treat others with respect
- ability to easily adjust to changes in the workplace
- ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- close vision
- color vision
