Job Summary
Dairy Clerk at Sprouts responsible for stocking and keeping dairy and frozen cases clean during business hours, assisting customers with purchases and product selection, and maintaining a safe, organized store area. Responsibilities include cleaning shelves and storage areas, stocking and facing dairy items per department schematics with accurate tagging and pricing, rotating stock and discarding outdated products, handling product receipts and temperature/quality checks, monitoring PO signs and promotional materials, and operating equipment such as scales, wrappers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Requires strong product knowledge, customer service, accuracy in labeling and pricing, safety adherence, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced grocery environment. Required Qualifications
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- Good communication skills and ability to participate in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- Physical ability to lift 40-60 lbs and move boxes/containers within distance limits
- Ability to walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift; use 2-step stool for access to shelves
- Adherence to safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations
- Be able to perform other related duties as assigned
- Team Members under 18 restricted from certain tasks (knife use, ladders, operating heavy equipment, etc.)
