Job Summary
The Dairy Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the dairy department. Key responsibilities include unloading merchandise, transporting stock, pricing items accurately, keeping shelves stocked, assisting in display building, managing perishable merchandise, and controlling damaged goods. The candidate must have the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and follow both written and verbal instructions. This position is part-time and reports to the Dairy Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
