Job Summary
The Dairy Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the dairy department. Key duties include unloading merchandise, transporting stock, opening cartons and pricing items, keeping shelves fully stocked, assisting in store displays, rotating perishable goods, managing damaged products, and maintaining a neat appearance. This position requires the ability to read, write, lift heavy weight, and follow instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
