Job Summary
Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting shoppers, answering phones, and assisting with product retrieval. Rotate and replenish dairy merchandise, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe storage area. Unload trucks, face products, build end caps, and order supplies as requested by the department manager. Participate in physical inventories, check invoices, and perform other store-related duties as needed. This fast-paced role requires adherence to strict hygiene and safety guidelines within a customer-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Less than high school or equivalent education
- Six months or less of similar or related experience
- Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of variables and limited standardization
- Ability to interpret instructions
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to copy figures, count, and record
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information
- Ability to request supplies orally or in writing
- Ability to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to perform work exerting up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with or without correction
