Job Summary
Rotating and replenishing dairy merchandise while maintaining highest quality standards and department cleanliness. Greet customers with a friendly smile, learn their names, and assist with product retrieval, heavy item loading, and telephone inquiries. Unload trucks, face merchandise, build end caps, and order supplies as requested by the department manager. Ensure storage organization, safe floor conditions, and correct temperature controls. Participate in monthly and quarterly physical inventories and check invoices against delivered product. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required by store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Less than high school or equivalent education
- Six months or less of similar or related experience
- Must be physically able to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently
- Must be physically able to perform medium work exerting up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Visual clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with or without correction
- Depth perception
