Job Summary
The da Vinci Cardiovascular Sales Manager leads cardiac procedure adoption for the da Vinci System across the DACH region. Responsibilities include identifying and validating surgeons, cardiologists, and executive stakeholders; developing and expanding cardiac programs; owning the four phases of the New da Vinci Cardiac Technical Training Pathway; building Cardiac Reference Centers to demonstrate clinical, economic, strategic, and operational impact; recruiting and developing surgical, cardiology, and executive KOLs for peer-to-peer engagements; launching the daVinci ECOSYSTEM across surgeons and programs; developing autonomous teams and ensuring programmatic success with clinical and financial evaluation; and delivering hospital and surgical-practice executive presentations. The role requires deep technical and clinical expertise with the da Vinci Surgical System, travel up to 70%, and fluency in English and German. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Clinical, Capital, Key Accounts, Marketing, Training, and Education, along with education of KOLs on safe and effective robotic surgery techniques and system integration within operating rooms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in science or business)
- 5+ years medical device experience required
- Cardiac clinical experience required
- Proven success in previous employment indicating high level of sales achievement
- Proven ability to develop KOLs and Reference Centers with QTI Data
- Proven ability to cross collaborate and work within teams
- Demonstrate ability to solve problems, manage complexity, and work in an environment of change
- Excellent planning skills, interpersonal skills, and persuasive communication skills
- Excellent clinical selling skills and ability to build credibility with a highly educated customer base
- Track record of sales excellence
- Ability to travel up to 70%, dependent upon account distribution
- Fluent in English and German is required
