Job Summary
Cardiovascular Program Specialist provides expert clinical support, education, and training for da Vinci cardiac surgery technologies across hospitals, partnering with sales/marketing to ensure safe adoption and positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include on-site case support in OR/hybrid OR, product setup/troubleshooting, developing training pathways for surgeons and care teams, conducting physician and staff trainings, onboarding new sites, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand adoption of da Vinci systems and digital solutions. Requires bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in a cardiac clinical role, proficiency in English and German, and ability to travel up to ~75%. Strong teaching, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, with a commercial mindset and adaptability to evolving technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in science or business)
- 2+ years of experience in a cardiac-related clinical role (electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, or critical care)
- Prior industry experience in medical devices is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures
- Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments (OR/cath lab)
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and complex procedures
- Team oriented with a commercial mindset
- Fluency in English and German
- Flexibility to travel extensively (75%)
