Job Summary
Cardiovascular Program Specialist (CVPS) for da Vinci robotic cardiac surgery support to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff. Provides on-site clinical support, training, and education on da Vinci cardiac surgery devices and therapies; collaborates with Cardiovascular Sales Manager/Director and marketing to drive safe product adoption and positive patient outcomes; develop training pipelines for surgeons; conduct physician and care-team training; support site start-ups and provide ongoing education; design tailored da Vinci pathways for surgeons and teams; after-hours and weekend support as needed; travel extensively (75%); fluent in English and German.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in science or business)
- 2+ years of experience in a cardiac-related clinical role (electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, or critical care)
- Prior industry experience in medical devices is strongly preferred
- Fluent in English and German is required
- Flexibility to travel extensively (75%)
- Deep understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures
- Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments (OR/cath lab)
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and complex procedures
- Team oriented with a commercial mindset
