Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Program Specialist (CVPS) will provide expert clinical support, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on the use of the daVinci cardiac surgery devices and therapies. The role partners with the sales team and marketing to ensure safe, effective product adoption and positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include on-site case support in the operating room or hybrid OR for robotic cardiac procedures, clinical troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with protocols; expanding the user base and training pipelines for surgeons; conducting training for physicians and care teams; supporting site start-ups with onboarding programs; designing tailored daVinci pathways for surgeons and teams; after-hours and weekend support as needed; collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive system adoption; facilitating adoption of digital solutions; and staying current with clinical literature and guidelines. Travel up to 75% is required. Must be fluent in English and German.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in science or business)
- 2+ years of experience in a cardiac-related clinical role (electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, or critical care)
- Prior industry experience in medical devices is strongly preferred
- Fluent in English and German
