Job Summary
Manage Center Store Departments, including dairy and frozen food sections, by planning daily operations, conducting inspections for product quality and rotation, and ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, and pricing policies. Direct and supervise all Center Store Department associates, overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and performance to meet sales and profit objectives. Order grocery products, maintain inventory levels, and handle merchandise shrinkage while resolving customer complaints and vendor relations. Occasionally perform manual work such as stocking displays, operating cash registers, and using hand trucks or pallet jacks. Work nights, weekends, and holidays with varying scheduled hours.

- ability to occasionally perform manual work such as setting up and maintaining displays, operating a cash register and assisting in other departments
- ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- ability to occasionally reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 50 lbs
- ability to occasionally push and pull fully loaded hand trucks and pallet jacks
- ability to cover for various positions throughout the store as required
