D365FO and AX Functional Support Consultant (In-House, D365 CoE)

Job Summary
Configure and test Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365FO functional modules, identifying system gaps through strong process knowledge. Provide day-to-day functional support to users across the Eurofins network in finance and purchasing, analyzing incidents and change requests with business analysts. Lead training sessions, execute test plans, and manage cut-over and go-live plans for new entities including data migration. Collaborate with global IT delivery teams to ensure high-quality solution delivery. Requires Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365FO experience, finance process knowledge, and fluent English. Occasional travel during critical project phases.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 and/or D365FO in functional, business support, or finance-related roles
- Good understanding of finance and accounting processes such as P2P, O2C and R2R
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Fluent written and oral English
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills including experience delivering clear and concise oral and written communication in international and multicultural business and IT environments
- Experience in analysing business requirements and supporting system enhancements
- Professional experience with AX/D365FO on consulting or/and end-user sites including participating in requirements gathering, process analysis & design, workshops, training and testing sessions
- Experience with data migration, integration testing and interface-related activities
- Knowledge of Trade & Logistics, Purchasing or Stock Management modules
- Strong educational background, ideally up to undergraduate/bachelor's degree level or equivalent in finance, business, IT or a related subject
- You may need to travel occasionally during critical project, rollout, or implementation phases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 and/or D365FO in functional, business support, or finance-related roles
- Experience in analysing business requirements and supporting system enhancements is highly desirable
- Professional experience with AX/D365FO on consulting or/and end-user sites including participating in requirements gathering, process analysis & design, workshops, training and testing sessions
- Exposure to reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Experience with data migration, integration testing and interface-related activities
- Knowledge of Trade & Logistics, Purchasing or Stock Management modules
