Job Summary
As a D365 Data Specialist, Inventory, you will support the Senior Inventory Control Manager by ensuring data integrity and accuracy in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Responsibilities include monitoring inventory transactions, conducting reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies in D365 and other systems. You will develop Power BI dashboards for inventory analytics, manage financial reconciliations, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize inventory processes. Candidates must have strong expertise in D365, advanced Excel and Power BI skills, and a solid understanding of inventory accounting principles.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a data-focused retail, inventory, or ERP analyst role.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Inventory & Supply Chain modules).
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas); Power BI dashboard development experience required.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles (subledger vs. GL, costing methods, shrink reserves).
- Proven ability to analyse large datasets and identify root causes of discrepancies.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations.
- Independent, analytical mindset with a proactive approach to data governance and continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business language.
