D365 CRM Functional Lead (On Premise)

Job Summary
Lead functional CRM/BizApps engagements for Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform, guiding discovery, design, and delivery across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating business strategy into CRM and digital transformation roadmaps. Facilitate executive-level discussions, workshops, and solution design sessions. Lead requirements discovery, scoping, and validation workshops; translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). Perform fit/gap analysis against Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform capabilities. Design end-to-end CRM solutions aligned with BizApps best practices, Avanade accelerators, and Microsoft standards. Deliver and collaborate to configure, prototype, and validate business processes using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. Lead UAT planning and execution, supporting change management and adoption activities. Provide mentorship to junior consultants and offshore teams; contribute to the Avanade BizApps CRM community and reusable assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / CE, including modules such as: Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service
- Strong experience with: Functional design & documentation, Business process mapping, Stakeholder management and client-facing consulting
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft Biz Apps ecosystem, including: Power Automate, Power Apps (Model-driven), Dataverse
- Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, Power Platform)
