Job Summary
Coordinate ISP meetings, attend monthly home meetings, and train direct support staff during in-home orientation. Counsel clients on behavioral issues, daily decisions, and minor problem resolution while providing transportation to medical appointments. Assist with financial management of individual funds, develop monthly staff schedules, and approve weekly timesheets. Act as an advocate for residents with support coordinators and community providers, ensuring CAPs are followed up and maintaining compliance during external audits. Maintain a flexible schedule to cover staff callouts, holiday coverage, and one week of on-call duties per month.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related field from an accredited college or university
- At least one (1) year experience working with behavioral health clients (mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities)
- Must have a valid GA Driver's License
- All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test
- Provide 2 Professional references (Former employers only, no family members)
