Job Summary
Provide direct instruction on daily living skills individually or in groups, monitor and document client behavior, and offer guidance in decision-making and behavior management. Support clients during periods of change, illness, or disruption, and perform light housekeeping, meal preparation for special diets, and errands. Help develop and implement individual service/treatment plans, participate in case reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings, and deliver educational and recreational activities. Ensure access to necessary medical care through transportation and maintain accurate client records and service documentation. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm with mandatory staff transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Georgia driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
