Job Summary
Conduct nursing assessments, including food/nutrition and pain evaluations, and administer prescribed medications with constant adjustments under supervision. Monitor client health and behavior, observing and reporting behavioral changes while maintaining strict control of drugs and medications. Collect urine samples and blood draws for lab testing, provide symptoms and treatment education, and assist with patient assistance applications and prior authorizations. Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in appropriate forms. This full-time role supports River Edge's outpatient services for behavioral health, substance use disorder, and intellectual disabilities in Macon, GA, focusing on meaningful relationships with patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or ASN Degree
- Current nursing license, in good standing with the Georgia State licensing board
- Minimum of one (1) year Psychiatric experience
- All selected applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test
