Job Summary
Technical Project Manager (TPM 4) is responsible for managing and ensuring timely completion of discrete technical project scope within a DOE/NNSA nuclear environment (Hazard Category 2 facility). Oversees technical requirements, defines and oversees project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks; leads the project team in planning, tracking, and executing scope from initiation through turnover. Manages scope aligned with the Triad prime contract and NNSA requirements, organized into control accounts and work packages. Reports to the Project Program Director and handles day-to-day administrative and operational management, including policy/procedure implementation, budget monitoring, and providing technical guidance to project teams. Prior nuclear experience within DOE/NNSA is required; experience with EVMS and Control Account Manager roles is preferred. Experience under DOE O 413.3B with Critical Decisions (CDs) and related reviews (TIPR, ICE, EIR, APR) is preferred. Also desirable is experience in work control, hazard management, radiological activities, quality assurance (NQA-1), and resolving complex regulatory issues. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree plus minimum twelve years of related DOE nuclear experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
