Job Summary
Operate an efficient, productive, and safe department by meeting daily production requirements within the Distribution Center. Spend a minimum of 90% of the shift on the floor reviewing orders, directing associates, and managing day-to-day activity including planning, flow, and resource allocation. Develop and motivate a workforce of 20+ associates while ensuring high morale and safety standards. Build effective relationships with business partners, management, and union representatives to facilitate efficient operations and identify process improvements. This role supports the global HomeGoods Distribution Center at TJX Companies, a Fortune 100 off-price retailer.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience managing diverse teams of 20+ associates
- 4-6 years of experience
- High School graduate
- College preferred or equivalent work experience
- Communication, coaching and development, strong math and PC skills
- Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict
- Ability to provide feedback and develop other leaders
- Must be available to support multiple shifts
