Job Summary

Evaluate, administer remedial treatments, and conduct screenings for pediatric patients in home health settings. Direct caregivers in selected tasks to restore performance and provide family training on home programming and discharge planning. Coordinate care with office staff, physicians, and other disciplines while maintaining appropriate records and communicating progress to families. Maintain supplies, participate in Quality Assurance programs, and mentor students or new hires as needed. Serve as backup for other caseloads and actively contribute to team goals and professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current state-issued professional license
  • Valid state driver license
  • CPR certified
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Pediatric clinical experience preferred
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
  • Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
