Job Summary

Evaluate, administer remedial treatments, and conduct occupational therapy screenings for pediatric patients within home health settings. Direct patients and caregivers in tasks to restore performance while providing family training on home programming and discharge planning. Coordinate care with office staff and physicians, maintain appropriate records, and refer families to external resources as needed. Maintain supplies, participate in Quality Assurance programs, and mentor new hires while demonstrating independent judgment. Requires a Master's degree, current licensure, and valid driver's license. Pay ranges from $58-65 per session.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current state-issued professional licensure
  • Valid state driver license
  • CPR certified
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
  • Ability to read and write in simple correspondence
  • Effective public speaking in small groups
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrate initiative and independent judgment in performing all job responsibilities
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
