Job Summary
Assist in the collection of cytological tissues, preparation, and screening of all specimen types while improving accuracy and efficiency for pathologists and physicians. Perform assigned duties including front office tasks, filing, tracking, and accessing specimens. Adhere to performance and quality standards, maintain continuous lab readiness for inspections, and participate in regulatory testing, instrument maintenance, and staff training. Requires a Cytotechnology program with a Bachelor's Degree, CT ASCP certification, and ability to lift 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed a Cytotechnology program with a Bachelor's Degree
- Must be a certified Cytotechnologist (CT ASCP)
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
