Cytotechnologist

Cytotechnologist responsible for screening and evaluating gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens for malignant or related abnormalities, including liquid-based cytology and conventional slides; perform microscopic evaluation following SOPs, document workload per CLIA guidelines, ensure accurate reporting, provide backup cytology support as needed, and maintain HIPAA and safety compliance. Requires BS degree, completion of an accredited Cytology program, and ASCP CT certification; preferred cytology experience (3+ months) and ThinPrep/SurePath certifications. Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, effective communication, color-vision screening, and LIS proficiency are valued. Compensation ranges from $40.00-$55.00/hour (Raritan) or $39.26-$47.00/hour (Albany), with comprehensive benefits; positions located in Raritan, NJ and Albany, NY. The role is full-time with a daytime schedule, some rotating Saturdays, and standard Labcorp benefits.
