Job Summary
Family Therapist for CYP – delivering systemic family therapy to children, young people and families across the UK. Provide risk assessments and formulations, work in a multidisciplinary team, deliver therapy via remote and/or face-to-face sessions, and maintain clinical records. Requires MSc in Systemic Family Therapy or equivalent and current professional registration (e.g., UKCP/AFT); experience with safeguarding and clinical governance; flexible/contract arrangement with remote-working capability. Includes opportunities for clinical supervision and CPD within a national CYP service. Location is UK-based remote work with Turnford, Hertfordshire address mentioned in the postings, but the service operates across the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional registration/accreditation with a recognised body (e.g. UKCP, AFT)
- Completed a recognised Family/Systemic Therapy qualification (e.g. MSc in Systemic Family Therapy or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience delivering systemic family therapy to children and young people
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment and clinical governance
- Experience working with children, young people and families within mental health services
