Job Summary
Operate various electrical measuring devices and equipment to produce quality, defect-free products while meeting production goals. Perform quality inspections on products and parts, rotate through specific production processes, and assist mechanics and machinists in repair work. Train and/or perform tasks for other associates as needed, communicate with supervisors regarding problems, and maintain a clean, orderly work area following 5S guidelines. Prioritize workplace safety above all else and support other functions within the team. Work overtime and other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or Associate degree in relevant field
- Entry level ~ 2 years of mechanical or electrical assembly where troubleshooting is required
- Must be able to work with others in a team environment
- Place safety in the workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines
- Must be able to work any shift
- English proficiency is plus, not must
- Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.)
Desired Qualifications
- Optical technology experience preferred
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work independently and with minimal direction or supervision
- Able to understand and read working instructions and diagrams
