Cylinder Cell Assembly Technician: 1st Shift

Job Summary
Assembles composite cylinder cells using mandrel loading/unloading, adhesive application, winding/pressing operations, and curing stations; operates and maintains assembly equipment, conducts quality inspections, and follows detailed work instructions to meet exact tolerances. Maintains production records per ISO 9001 and internal procedures, observes safety protocols (PPE, LOTO, chemical handling), and collaborates with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred technical manufacturing training and 1+ years of related experience; must be able to read technical drawings/blueprints and adhere to documentation standards while working in a 1st shift manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSE)
- Technical training or certification in manufacturing, composites, or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in composite manufacturing, assembly, or related production work preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
