Job Summary
Understand customer business processes and identify critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gather functional and technical requirements for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Utilize expertise in Factory Automation, PLC, and Cygnet SCADA to conduct AS-IS and TO-BE studies, collaborate with subject matter experts, and design solutions that enhance MES landscapes. Engage with stakeholders to develop client-specific requirements, leading to the creation of Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) documents. This remote position in India requires a Manufacturing Domain Specialist with at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in Cygnet SCADA, and hands-on Python programming skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Manufacturing domain, encompassing both functional and technical aspects
- Proficiency in Cygnet SCADA
- Hands-on experience with Python programming
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent exposure to the IT industry
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multicultural environment
- Proven track record of creative and analytical problem-solving
Desired Qualifications
- Industry experience, particularly in Manufacturing, is a significant advantage
- Functional knowledge in areas such as Product Data Management, Shop Floor Control, Traceability, and Product Quality
- Basic database knowledge, especially MSSQL
- Technical/Functional experience with Sepasoft or a similar MES product
- Previous project experience involving Design, Development, Configuration, and Implementation for various manufacturing industries
- Experience in MES-ERP Integration
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
