Job Summary
Count and track physical inventory, maintaining accurate records of counts and frequency. Investigate root causes for inventory discrepancies, document corrections, and communicate variances to management. Record inventory counts in the accounting system and ensure accuracy of information while complying with internal controls. Prepare various reports and correspondence as required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area
- Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures
