Job Summary
Cycle Count every location in the warehouse at least once a quarter by identifying products, counting quantities, and entering data into PkMS. Perform repeat counts as dictated by management and operate RF scanning devices daily to print, monitor, and process tasks based on Crystal and PkMS report data. Maintain general housekeeping of the facility and specific inventory areas while adhering to all safety rules, including hazardous material handling. Work autonomously and independently, occasionally operating forklift equipment with certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to write legibly
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Functional literacy
- Capability of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes
- Ability to operate RF scanning devices
- Understanding and operation of PkMS warehouse management system
- Ability to print, monitor and process tasks based on Crystal and PkMS report data
- Ability to work autonomously and independent of supervision
- Forklift certification
- Ability to lift and move product of up to 60 pounds
- Ability to move heavy product in excess of 1,000 pounds with moving aids
- Ability to climb or balance
- Close vision
