Job Summary
Follow up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery performance to support production requirements. Serve as the main point of contact for all suppliers, providing direction on ship schedules and containment plans when delays occur. Track critical parts, coordinate alternative material sources, and manage truck load cancellations to maintain inventory coverage at the lowest possible cost. Monitor part buffers, document S and AV code exceptions, and investigate root causes for record adjustments. Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO through independent decision-making on postings and adjustments. This role supports production continuity for General Motors LLP within Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- DOT Regulated
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- One (1) year or more administrative experience preferred
- Five (5) years or more relevant experience strongly recommended
