Job Summary
Conduct daily cycle counts and random audits of parts and materials, entering transactions into the stockroom database and resolving inventory discrepancies. Maintain required records and reports while operating forklifts or pallet jacks to move materials as needed. Requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Starting pay is $23.35/hour for this hourly non-exempt role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Forklift certification
- Understanding of transaction effect on inventory
- Ability to correctly measure materials
- Strong user of enterprise databases and MS Office
- Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures including handling exceptions
- Basic reading, writing and numerical ability
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
