Job Summary
Cycle Counter (1st Shift) is responsible for maintaining daily inventory-related activities including cycle counts, reporting trends in inventory-related data, and ensuring compliance with inventory processes and contractual obligations. The role involves compiling data for projects, reconciling counts of randomly selected part numbers/locations, and supporting continuous improvement in manufacturability. Must have a high school diploma or GED, at least three months of related manufacturing experience, forklift certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The position requires reading and writing simple documents, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team while following safety and ISO/TS16949/ISO 14001 standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum three months related experience and/or training in manufacturing setting
- Forklift Certification required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence
- Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Dependability - follows instructions and management direction
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent problem solving and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team; self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
