Job Summary
Develop TTPs, CONOPs, and COAs for the securing, operating, and defending of the DODIN while analyzing emerging threats to U.S. Critical Infrastructure. Monitor strategies from higher echelons to ensure compliance and develop plans using operational art within Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) activities. Integrate cyberspace capabilities into deliberate and contingency planning, contribute to exercise scenarios, and participate in Joint Planning Groups. Provide input to briefings and coordinate joint operational planning for training, exercises, and contingency operations. Requires 10 years of Joint Operation Planner experience, a Bachelor's degree, and an Active TS/SCI Poly. Located in the Fort Meade, MD area with a salary range of $135,000 - $216,000.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Joint Operation Planner
- complete working knowledge of the JOPP, JOPES, and APEX planning formats and guidance
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum specialized education in military joint operation planning through the JPME II from a Page 39 of 127 CJCS accredited joint education program listed in CJCSI 1800.01E
- The JIOPC, or other similar military operation planning courses, may be substituted for JPME II
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Four years of planning experience may be substituted with completion of an advanced Service planner school (SAMS, SAASS, JAWS, etc.)
- Active TS/SCI Poly required
- US Citizenship required
