Job Summary
Conduct operational-to-strategic joint cyber operations planning, developing plans, orders, and related documents to enable supported Cyber Operations and Information Operations. Participate in Joint Strategic Planning Groups and Assessment Working Groups to integrate cyber capabilities into plans for Cyber Command and other supported Commands. Apply operational art and design to achieve desired end states, orchestrate execution, and adjust plans as needed. Collaborate with intelligence planners to establish requirements and evaluate emerging threats shaping mission areas. Facilitate command and control, employment, and support requirements for National Mission Teams and other operational elements. Monitor higher-echelon directives to recommend effective guidance for plans and operations. Develop and integrate cyberspace capabilities into training and exercises. Requires minimum 10 years of Joint Ops Planner experience, a bachelor's degree, U.S. citizenship, and an Active TS/SCI clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as Joint Ops Planner
- complete working knowledge of JPP/relevant tools
- Minimum of bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- U.S. citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance
- Minimum specialized education in military joint ops planning through JPME II from a CJCS-accredited program listed in CJCSI 1800.01E
- JIOPC, or similar planning courses may be substituted for JPME II
- Highly organized, flexible multitasker

- Strong analytical skills
- demonstrated initiative solving problems in past roles and responsibilities
- Four years of planning experience may be substituted with completion of an advanced Service planner school (SAMS, SAASS, JAWS, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior cyber planning and operational experience at Combatant command/Cyber component/team levels
- Operational/planning cyber-related certification courses
