Cybersecurity Systems Analyst, Intermediate

Job Summary
Assess and authorize IT systems by coordinating Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, developing Plans of Action and Milestones, and creating A&A packages for SIE environments. Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus and ACAS to identify STIG compliance gaps and mitigate network risks. Liaise with stakeholders and system administrators to resolve deficiencies, validate patching, and draft certification letters for new applications. Track A&A status in automated tools, maintain ISCM plans, and report compliance metrics to higher headquarters such as USCYBERCOM and DIA. Ensure timely notifications for accreditation lapses and coordinate with federal agencies to support security resolution and waiver requests.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive, relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required
- Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested
- Must have excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience with DoD IA processes and policies (e.g., DODI 8510.01, NIST, CNSS and other cybersecurity policies, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 65101.01, Incident Response and other IA policies)
- IAM Level II
- Working knowledge of the RMF
- Technical background with system administration experience, architecture and engineering
- Technical background in networking, identity management, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, database, and mobility
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the US Combatant Commands (USCENTCOM/USSOCOM) is desired
- Technical background in networking, identity management, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, database, and mobility preferred
- Knowledge of the Telos Xacta or Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS) system is desired
