Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert w/Secret Clearance

Job Summary
Serve as senior cybersecurity advisor for RMF and A&A execution, providing oversight of the RMF lifecycle and validation activities across systems and enclaves. Review Security Assessment Plans, reports, and authorization packages for completeness, while offering expert analysis on residual risk, STIG compliance, and vulnerability remediation strategies. Guide system owners on NIST, FISMA, and DoD policy requirements, develop enterprise cybersecurity dashboards, and support continuous monitoring implementation. Participate in technical review boards, provide executive-level recommendations, and deliver subject matter expertise for DHA cybersecurity initiatives and Government briefings.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years IT experience
- HIPAA/Medical Systems expertise
- Senior DoD cybersecurity experience
- RMF subject matter expertise
- A&A authorization experience
- IV&V cybersecurity validation experience
- Enterprise cybersecurity architecture experience
- Risk management expertise
- DoD policy knowledge
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
- U.S. Citizen
- Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain TS
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape
- IAM Level III Certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CASP)
